Scanned PDFs usually need OCR. This first tool is planned for PDFs that already contain selectable text.

Can I copy the extracted text?

Yes. Extracted text can be copied from the page or downloaded as a text file.

Are PDF text files uploaded?

No. PDF to Text extracts selectable text locally in your browser.
