Files up to 50MB are accepted. Very large PDFs can take longer because processing happens locally.

Locked PDFs

Password-protected or encrypted PDFs need to be unlocked before browser tools can read them.

Scanned PDFs

PDF to Text works best with selectable text. Image-only scans need OCR, which is not included yet.
